Christian Education
For Adults
We all are at different places in our spiritual lives. All of us are constantly learning and growing in the faith. We encourage people to ask questions and explore answers together! A Bible study is currently being offered on Monday mornings at 10 a.m. on zoom. Other adult studies are offered in the fall and spring.
For Children and Youth
On Sunday mornings, children are encouraged participate in the community’s worship. A rocking chair and soft toys are in the back of the room. Coloring materials are available for young members, and there is a room attached to the sanctuary with glass windows and doors where parents can bring restless infants and toddlers while being able to see and hear the service. As children get older, often they have served as acolytes, carrying the cross, and readers. Feel free to speak with the rector about your children and their needs.

Barn Sale – June 1, 2024 – 9:30-2pm
In June St. David’s hosts an annual “barn sale”. Parishioners bring in tools, clothing, household items, books, toys, and furniture to sell. It helps raise money for the church, is an opportunity for members to work together, benefits those who may not be able to afford needed new items from the store and helps clear our homes of unwanted and unused “stuff”.
Community Meals Coming up
June 29, 2024 6pm – Ham and Bean Supper
St. David’s is committed to having meals where people from all ages and walks of life can come for food and to relax together. Some meals are served in a drop-in buffet style. Others are served at a set time, family style. Tickets are usually available 3-4 weeks ahead of time. If you would like a meal but cannot afford a ticket, call the minister and she’ll be glad to get you one!
Thank you to the Kagan Family for their generous support to renovate our kitchen in honor of Johanna Kagan.

For Crafters
Our annual craft fair is an outside fair held on our church grounds. We offer a fun, welcoming event with lots of help and support for our crafters and artisans. The craft fair is well publicized, and we have fun kid’s events such as face painting to draw more shoppers.
For Shoppers
The St. David’s Craft Fair is an annual tradition for many in the Greater Salem area. There is something for everyone – Crafts, Food, Raffle and the famous Cookie Walk where you can fill a container with homemade cookies of every kind.
There is ample free parking in the area and free admission. You and your family will also have fun with our kid’s bouncy house and face painting.
Crafts include jewelry, wood reclaimed products, handmade soaps, fiber arts, ornaments, jams and jellies, fabric gifts and much more.
Café St. David’s – have lunch with us while you shop. Our cafe has homemade meatballs, vegetarian chili, clam chowder, hot dogs, apple pie, veggie wraps, chicken Ceasar wraps and more. And our prices are very reasonable!!
Raffle – Buy chances to win large items like a bicycle, handmade quilt, flat screen TV and more. Also church members contribute beautiful gift baskets of all kinds and local businesses contribute gift certificates and baskets. Each raffle ticket enters you into the drawing for any of the items. The drawing is held on Sunday and you do not need to be present to win.
Cookie Walk – this event is loved by all – buy a container and “Do the Walk!” Walk along our tables filled with homemade cookies and fill a container of your favorites – from the always popular chocolate chip, to peanut blossoms, M&M, and too many more to even list! And they keep changing as new cookies are dropped off by our congregation.
